New Issue of Context

Apparently Dalkey Archive is still publishing Context, just really, really slowly. Issue 24 is out now, with writing about Stig Saeterbakken and by Peter Dimock, Louis Paul Boon, and others.

By far the best feature there is the interview with John E. Woods whose translation of Zettel’s Traum will finally reach us later this year. The literary event of the century!

Yes! The Untranslated, I think I was trying to verify what I discovered on Google Books the other day concerning the 15 September 2014 release date of the Zettels Traum translation and yr post was the only reference I found to it.

You might also be interested to know that if you search for the ISBN 9781628971040 on Google Books, you’ll find an entry for a Dalkey Archive Press edition of Evening Edged in Gold with the same release date as Bottom’s Dream. No reference to that title as forthcoming in Context 24, but who knows?

The reissue of Evening… would be an additional boon. The original copies are pricey and hard to come by.
